Virginia Tech Undergraduate Science Laboratory Building

This 102,000-square-foot laboratory building is designed to support Virginia Tech’s growing enrollment in STEM degrees while also providing collaborative interdisciplinary lab space for research and innovation. KCI provided the mechanical insulation scope for this project which included 46,000-linear-feet of pipe insulation and 75,000-square-feet of ductwork insulation. Firestop of Virginia worked direct for Skanksa to provide the complete firestop and acoustical scope for the project.
